Emily Beck Cogburn is a fiction writer based in Louisiana.

Born in Minnesota, Emily moved to Louisiana in 1999. She has master's degrees in philosophy and library science. Besides writing, she enjoys playing bass guitar in a local swamp punk band, cooking with lots of butter, and taking care of her toddler, husband, two cats, and dog.
