Emily Beck Cogburn is a stringer for the Baton Rouge Advocate. Her fiction has been published in Phantasmagoria, Gris Gris Rouge, Jubilee Anthology, and Tom’s Voice Magazine. Two novels co-written with her husband Jon Cogburn placed in the 2011 Faulkner-Wisdom Competition. She was awarded one of the top prizes in Country Roads’ 2008 short story contest and won the 2010 fiction contest sponsored by the University of Minnesota Alumni Association’s publication Minnesota Magazine.
